Mammographer Jobs in Pennsylvania
A Mammographer is a specialized radiologic technologist who plays a critical role in the radiology field. To become a Mammographer, an individual typically needs a combination of education, certification, and experience. They must possess an associate's or bachelor's degree in radiologic technology from an accredited institution and be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Essential skills include attention to detail, manual dexterity, strong communication skills, and the ability to comfort and reassure patients. Before becoming a Mammographer, a person might have experience as a Radiologic Technologist, Radiology Technician, or X-Ray Technician.
