Radiologic Technologist Jobs

Create diagnostic images. Radiologic technologists perform X-rays and computed tomography (CT) tests as well as more specialized procedures such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), mammography, and bone densitometry based on their training and credentials. They prepare patients for examinations and operate equipment precisely to adhere to safety protocols and deliver a clear image. They may be asked to collaborate with radiologists to help identify concerns or abnormalities.

As they may need to communicate with patients about highly personal and sensitive information, radiologic technologists need to be empathetic, compassionate, and emotionally stable. They should also have effective administrative skills, as they must maintain records of the procedures they complete.
