Radiology Manager Jobs

Plan, organize, and oversee day-to-day radiology department operations. Managers of radiology—also called managers of diagnostic imaging—supervise all employees to ensure that practices are carried out in accordance to the facility’s policies, general precedents and standards, and state/federal laws and regulations. In addition to filling this managerial role, they also monitor equipment functionality, manage inventory, and guide staff to meet departmental objectives.

Radiology managers work in a variety of environments, including hospitals, healthcare centers, and private practices. They recommend improvements and programs to optimize performance in their specific institutions. For example, they might devise new staff training opportunities or implement client satisfaction surveys. They are also involved in the hiring process.
