Radiology Technician Jobs in Hillsboro, ND
A Radiology Technician, also referred to as a Radiologic Technologist, plays an integral role in the radiology field. They are responsible for operating complex medical imaging equipment, such as X-ray, computed tomography, or magnetic resonance imaging machines to help diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries. They should also have a good understanding of anatomy, physiology, and radiology principles. Radiology Technicians should have an associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and must be certified by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Prior to becoming a Radiology Technician, an individual may have been a Medical Assistant, a Certified Nursing Assistant, or a Medical Imaging Assistant. These roles provide relevant experience in patient care and medical environments that can be beneficial in a radiology setting.
