University Diagnostics is seeking a Lead MRI Technologist to join our patient-focused team!
Position Status: full-time
Location: outpatient imaging center located in Knoxville, TN
JOB SUMMARY:
The Lead MRI Technologist oversees the daily functions of the MRI department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality imaging services while upholding all safety and regulatory requirements. This role provides guidance and training to MRI staff, manages scheduling and workflow, and collaborates closely with radiologists, physicians, and other departments to support exceptional patient care. Additionally, the Lead MRI Technologist contributes as an integral member of the imaging center team, actively seeking and offering feedback to enhance clinical practices.

RequirementsEDUCATION:
- Must have a minimum associate's degree in Radiology or be a graduate of an accredited two-year radiology program.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiography and maintain current valid registration from ARRT. Must also hold a MR advanced registration through ARRT. Additionally, must meet the state licensure requirement for the state in which they practice. BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
