Become a vital part of a hospital team in Valparaiso, IN as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to provide diagnostic imaging services for patients in an emergency and inpatient setting.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Current ARRT (R)(CT) certification required.
- BLS certification required.
- 1-2 years of CT and radiography (XR) experience required with demonstrated proficiency.
- Experience with GE CT scanners and Philips X-ray equipment preferred.
- Experience using Vitrea, Merge PACS, and MedRad contrast injectors preferred.
- Cerner EMR experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently overnight and provide CT/XR coverage across low-volume inpatient units as needed.
- Applicants must be located more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted.
- Travelers must attach required licenses and certifications with submission. Driver's license and permanent home address must be included and match ID.
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a JRCERT-accredited radiologic technology program preferred.
- Prior emergency department imaging experience preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 1900-0700.
- Workdays: Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
- Call requirements: None.
- Block scheduling: Not an option.
- Must be able to float to cover general inpatient units as needed.

Impacting Patient Care
Provide diagnostic imaging support in an emergency department setting and contribute to inpatient care across rehabilitation and regency units. Follow established protocol books and up-to-date scanner protocols to ensure quality imaging and timely results. Maintain collaborative relationships with emergency department staff to facilitate patient flow and care.
