Radiology Technologist NHMG

Schedule: Monday- Sunday, 7am-5pm- every other weekend required and weekdays can be flexible.

Novant Health Ortho & Sports Medicine Cotswold is seeking a Rad Tech. The Radiologic Technologist assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and / or therapeutic procedures by preparing the pient and opering the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images.

• Educion : Gradue of ARRT-approved Radiography Program. Certificion required within 6 months of hire post-graduion from an accredited Radiology Program, required. 2 Year / Associe Degree, preferred.
• Experience : Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred.
• Licensure/Certificion: ARRT, required.
• Additional Skills (required): Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories. Analytical ability and basic computer skills. Has knowledge and skills necessary to modify care according to pient(s) age. Has the ability to interpret informion to identify each pients requirements for care relive to his/her age specific needs. Good communicion skills, capable of functioning alone in diagnostic rooms, working knowledge of various types of x-ray equipment, able to adapt to various situions and procedures.

• Performs direct pient care. Collects da to determine correct procedure /protocol to be followed. Performs screening processes for medicion reconciliion and allergy confirmion. Reviews orders for clarity and verifies as needed. Performs and assists the physicians in performing radiology procedures.
