Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist in Kernersville, NC

Schedule:

• Choice of 4x10 hour shifts (7:00am5:30pm) or 5x8 hour shifts (8:00am4:30pm)
• Call: 3-4 days/month, plus weekend call every 5th-6th weekend (Friday eveningMonday 8:00am)
• No standard weekend shifts except for call
• Flexible schedule cycle (every 4-6 weeks)
• Free parking and hospital-provided black scrubs

Your Role:

• Scrub, circulate, and assist in interventional radiology procedures, including venous and body interventions such as dialysis lines, ports, TIPS, embolizations, thrombectomies, biopsies, drainage, and access procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced equipment (Siemens, Sonosite ultrasound)
• Collaborate with a supportive team: 1 provider, 4 APPs, 2 techs per room, plus RN support
• Utilize EPIC Encompass EMR and Omnicell medication dispensing
• Adhere to call and holiday expectations as discussed with leadership

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of relevant experience (first-time travelers are welcome!)
• ARRT-R or RCIS certification, BLS, and ACLS required
• Skilled in scrubbing, assisting, circulating, and equipment operation in the IR suite
