They must have a certification in Radiation Therapy, typically earned after completing a Bachelor's degree program in Radiation Therapy or Radiologic Technology, followed by a passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam. Prior to becoming a Radiation Therapist, a person may have roles such as Radiation Therapy Technologist, Radiologic Technologist, or Medical Dosimetrist.
