Radiologic Technologist Jobs in Pell City, AL
A Radiologic Technologist, also known as Radiographer, plays a pivotal role in the radiology field by performing diagnostic imaging examinations on patients. Their role involves using imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, computer tomography (CT) scans, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines to create images that help physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. Besides, they're responsible for preparing patients for procedures, positioning patients and equipment correctly, and maintaining and operating the machines safely and effectively. To become a Radiologic Technologist, a person must hold a minimum of an Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and a valid certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
